May 2022 meeting coming up soon.

 Don't forget it will be Fleet Knitting Club meeting on Tuesday, 3rd May.  It will be easy to overlook it, coming straight after the bank holiday weekend.

Sally tells me that the Knitting and Crochet Guild trunk show has just arrived, so I'm hoping we can have a sneak preview on Tuesday, and followed by a proper look and examination of the contents at the June meeting.    We'll also be talking a bit more about socks as it's a big subject and there are so many different techniques involved.  Don't forget to bring along items for show and tell as well as a project to work on whilst we talk.

For those of you that haven't made it since we restarted, don't forget about the change of venue.  The Methodist Church is easy to find and we'll be there from 8pm.

Show and tell

April 2022 Meeting - Tuesday 5th - Casting on to knit in the round.

 It's the start of April so we will be meeting on Tuesday 5th.  8pm at Fleet Methodist Church. 

The topic for the evening is knitting in the round, so we'll start at the beginning with methods of casting on and joining and see what happens.  If you have them, please bring a set of double pointed needles and a circular needle plus some yarn to go with them.  Check out the lockdown Newsletters as some have links to techniques we'll be having a go at.

The Church website says masks are now optional, but we would very much appreciate it if you continue to wear your mask.  You'll have seen that rates are high again and rising and we all would rather avoid getting sick if we can.
